Damascus, September 08 (QNA) - Syria has condemned, in the strongest possible terms, the Houthi attack on civilian and economic objects in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in injuries to several civilians, including women and children.

In a statement Tuesday, the Syrian Foreign Ministry stressed that Syria firmly stands with Saudi Arabia in all actions taken to protect its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, in alignment with the rules-based international order and the United Nations Charter.

In addition, Syria reiterated its flat-out repudiation of any assault on civilians, calling for an immediate halt to these actions that imperil the security and stability of the region. (QNA)
