5.6-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Solomon Islands in Pacific Ocean
Honiara, September 06 (QNA) - An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale struck the Solomon Islands in the Pacific Ocean Sunday.
The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter was located 93 kilometers southeast of Kirakira, at a depth of 38.5 kilometers.
The Solomon Islands are located in a seismically active region. (QNA)
