Qatar Airways Expands Its African Network
Doha, May 18 (QNA) - Qatar Airways is expanding its African network, with flight resumptions and frequency increases launching from June 16, 2026.
In a statement on Monday, Qatar Airways said that boosting connectivity across Africa, it will restart four weekly flights to Seychelles (SEZ) and two weekly flights to Kigali (KGL) from June 16, and daily flight to Marrakesh (RAK) from July 1.
Qatar Airways indicated its intention to increase the number of flights to Alexandria, Cairo, Cape Town, Dar es Salaam, Lusaka-Harare and Maputo-Durban.
Additionally, the airline is launching three weekly flights to Port Sudan, Sudan from July 2. The move reinforces the airline's commitment to global connectivity, while balancing sustainable growth with increasing demand for convenient air travel connectivity and trade.
This comes as Qatar Airways continues to enhance global air connectivity by rebuilding its network of destinations, which includes more than 160 destinations worldwide. (QNA)
