Berlin, September 10 (QNA) - Germany and the United Arab Emirates have signed a series of agreements, memoranda of understanding and letters of intent aimed at expanding cooperation across several priority sectors.
The agreements were signed during UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's current visit to Germany.
According to the Emirates News Agency, the two countries signed a joint declaration of intent to establish a UAE-German Investment Council, alongside a declaration launching a strategic dialogue between the two governments.
The initiatives are intended to strengthen the countries' long-term partnership and expand cooperation, particularly in the economic and development sectors, advanced technology and energy.
The UAE also announced plans to invest EUR 40 billion in Germany across sectors considered strategically important to both countries.
The planned investments will target industries including advanced technology, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and energy, as well as other vital sectors of mutual interest. (QNA)
