Amman, August 22 (QNA) - Qatar's U19 handball team will face Iran on Sunday in the third round of Group B at the Asian Men's U19 Handball Championship, held in Amman, Jordan through Aug 31.
Qatar head into the encounter aiming for a third consecutive victory after making an impressive start to the tournament. They opened their campaign with a 30-22 win over Saudi Arabia before defeating Kuwait 30-19 in their second match.
The Qatari side will conclude their group-stage campaign against Syria on Monday in the fourth and final round of the preliminary stage.
Qatar will be looking to maintain their positive momentum as they pursue a strong run in the continental competition. 
The team's early results underline the continued development of Qatari handball and its growing presence on the Asian stage, with the squad targeting a deep run and ultimately a challenge for the championship title. (QNA)
