Amman, June 4 (QNA) - Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi discussed regional developments in a phone call today with his Dutch counterpart, Tom Berendsen.

Both sides emphasized the importance of reaching a lasting solution based on principles that guarantee security and stability, respect international law, and the principles of good neighborliness.

They also stressed the need to stabilize Gaza, ensure the unimpeded and sustainable delivery of aid, and halt illegal Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank.

These actions include settlement construction, settler violence, land confiscation, and attempts to alter the historical and legal status quo of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

The call also addressed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields. (QNA)
