LoginIsraeli Airstrikes Continue on Southern, Eastern Lebanon
Beirut, June 04 (QNA) - Israeli attacks continued Thursday on southern and eastern Lebanon, leading to new deaths and injuries.
Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) said that the final death toll from the Israeli airstrike on the town of Sahmar in the Western Bekaa district has risen to 5 after the bodies of two more victims were recovered and four people were injured.
In the same context, a drone carried out an airstrike on the town of "Tul," leaving one injury, while 8 other civilians were injured in the airstrikes on the town of "Harouf."
Warplanes also launched airstrikes on the towns of Kfar Tebnit, Mayfadoun, Ma'raka, Kfarjouz, Adshit, Deir Zahrani, and Zawtar - Nabatieh.
The United States had previously announced that Israel and Lebanon had reached a ceasefire agreement, following the conclusion of the second and final day of the fourth round of negotiations between the two sides in Washington. (QNA)
