Cairo, June 26 (QNA) - The Shura Council, is participating in the 8th Conference of the Arab Parliament and Speakers of Arab Councils and Parliaments, which will be held in Cairo, Egypt on Saturday.

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, will lead the Council's delegation to the conference.

The conference will discuss three important topics: formulating a unified Arab position to preserve the security, stability, and sovereignty of Arab states against any external aggression; developments in the occupied Palestinian territories; and the issue of strengthening Arab digital sovereignty and protecting national privacy in the era of digital transformation.

Participants will present their perspectives as parliamentarians on these topics and discuss the related challenges.

HE Shura Council Member Nasser bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, who is also member of the the Arab Parliament, participated in the preparatory committee meeting for the conference, which addressed draft resolutions related to the topics under discussion, in preparation for their presentation at the conference tomorrow.
