Ramallah, May 21 (QNA) - Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al Sheikh discussed the latest developments in the region during a phone call on Thursday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Al Sheikh briefed Lavrov on Israeli measures in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as well as the situation in the Gaza Strip. He also discussed efforts with Arab and international partners to advance a political path aimed at ending the conflict and implementing international resolutions.
Lavrov reaffirmed Russia's support for international law and international legitimacy, stressing that the two-state solution remains the only way to resolve the conflict. (QNA)
