Doha, May 16 (QNA) - Qatar handball team secured a 34-19 win over Kuwait in their match at Duhail Sports Hall today, as part of the 4th Gulf Games Doha 2026.
This is Qatar's second consecutive win after their 28-20 victory over the UAE in the first round, bringing their total to 4 points at the top of the standings.
Qatar will face Bahrain on Tuesday in their third match of the tournament.
In another game played today, Saudi Arabia team beat the UAE 34-21.
All participating handball teams will take a rest day on Sunday before competition resumes on Monday, with Bahrain facing Saudi Arabia and Kuwait meeting the UAE.
It is worth mentioning that Qatar won the gold medal in the 3rd Gulf Games in Kuwait in 2022. (QNA)
