UAE Bowling Official Praises Qatar's Outstanding Organization of Gulf Games Doha 2026
Doha, May 16 (QNA) - Vice President of the UAE Bowling Federation, Salah Al Jaeedi praised Qatar's exceptional organization of the 4th Gulf Games Doha 2026, describing the event as a model of excellence on both the organizational and technical levels.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Jaeedi said Qatar once again demonstrated its leading position in hosting major sporting events through its extensive expertise and world-class organizational capabilities.
He noted that the tournament has run smoothly since the opening day, highlighting the warm hospitality, efficient scheduling and seamless management of competitions, all of which created a positive atmosphere for participating delegations.
Al Jaeedi added that all participants agreed on the success and professionalism of the Qatari organization, stressing that the tournament slogan, "One Gulf... One Heart," truly reflected the spirit and objectives of the Games.
The competitions have showcased a remarkable atmosphere of brotherhood among the Gulf nations, reflecting the deep ties and affection shared by the peoples of the region, he said.
The UAE official also praised the opening ceremony, describing it as meaningful and rich in symbolism. He said the concept successfully revisited the authentic Gulf past while celebrating the region's cultural heritage and traditions, creating a distinctive blend of modern presentation and traditional Gulf identity.
On the bowling competitions, Al Jaeedi said the tournament has witnessed a very high technical level due to the strong performances delivered by all Gulf teams.
He pointed out that one of the most notable aspects of this edition has been the reliance on young players and emerging talents, many of whom have already demonstrated significant experience and competitiveness.
Most teams have strengthened their senior squads with young players and rising talents who have made a clear technical impact, Al Jaeedi said, adding that the trend represents a positive indicator for the future of bowling in the Gulf region and reflects the success of federations in developing a new generation capable of sustaining achievements.
Al Jaeedi also expressed satisfaction with the UAE team's performances during the championship and voiced hope for further success during the final day of bowling competitions.
In his concluding remarks, he emphasized that the Gulf Games had succeeded in bringing together the peoples of the Gulf under one sporting and fraternal umbrella.
"The spirit of love and solidarity has been strongly present throughout the tournament. Everyone appeared genuinely happy for the success of others, which reflects the true meaning of the tournament's slogan," he said.
Al Jaeedi also extended his thanks to the Qatar Bowling Federation, headed by Abdullah Sultan Al Qattan, for the outstanding hosting of the bowling competitions.
