Kuwait City, May 15 (QNA) - HH Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah has sent a written message to French President Emmanuel Macron concerning relations between the two countries and recent developments in the Middle East.
According to a statement from Kuwait's foreign ministry on Friday, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah delivered the message to his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot during talks held in the French capital, Paris.
The discussions focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across a range of sectors, as well as the latest regional and international developments.
Kuwait and France maintain close diplomatic and defense ties, with the two countries frequently coordinating on issues relating to regional security and economic cooperation.
The meeting comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, as regional leaders continue diplomatic efforts aimed at containing instability and reinforcing international partnerships. (QNA)
