Doha, May 12 (QNA) - The Engineers Without Borders - Qatar program, of the Qatar Society of Engineers, launched engineering clinic services, and announced the start of receiving citizens' applications to benefit from its services, on this occasion.
The program said in a statement on Tuesday that this step, which reflects the values of community solidarity, aims to provide technical support and innovative solutions to the challenges facing Qatari families and those about to build.
In this context, Qatar Society of Engineers board member and Director of Engineersآ Without Bordersآ program, Eng. Khalid Abdulrahim Al Sayed, said that the Engineering Clinic is not merely a traditional consulting office, but a professional volunteer platform that aims to provide assistance to citizens who are about to build their homes, help them resolve disputes, and provide technical support to those who face problems or delays with contacting companies.
Al Sayed noted that the clinic also aims to reduce costs and create quick engineering solutions at the lowest possible cost to alleviate the financial burden on families, in addition to its specialized engineers reviewing and monitoring designs and construction sites to ensure quality and prevent technical errors before they occur.
The program, which launched its website in December 2025, has seen a wide response from national and resident competencies, and now boasts a constellation of engineers in all engineering disciplines, who are fully prepared to contribute to the Qatari urban renaissance, he added.
The program director also revealed ongoing efforts to establish strategic partnerships with ministries, government agencies, banks, and charities to ensure that these projects align with the strategic directions of the State of Qatar and support its urban development according to the latest international standards.
