Doha, January 14 (QNA) - Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi said the team is ready to meet Al Wakrah at Saud bin Abdulrahman Stadium on Thursday, within the thirteenth round of the Doha Bank Stars League.

Speaking ahead of their match against Al Wakrah, Al Duhail coach stated: "All matches are difficult. Al Wakrah are a well-balanced and effective team. We must strive to deliver strong performances and achieve a positive result; we have no other option.

"Since the beginning of the season, the team has suffered several significant absences. We have certainly been affected by these absences, but my role as a coach is to manage the available players. The squad will see the return of Adel Boulbina, Karim Boudiaf and Marco Verratti for the upcoming match, in addition to Salah Zakaria's recent return from injury. These are positive indicators for delivering strong performances in the coming period," said Belmadi.

For his part, Al Wakrah coach Vicente Moreno said: "Our preparations for the upcoming league match against Al Duhail was excellent, the encounter would be difficult for both sides.

“We are ready for the next match because I have seen the players' hard work this week and that is why we are prepared. I have great confidence in all players.

"Al Duhail are a big club with good players and currently the teams are very close in the standings. But if we want to win, we have to give it our all," said Moreno. (QNA)
