Doha, June 10 (QNA) - Qatar University (QU) announced that it will continue accepting online applications for new students for the Fall 2025 semester until July 9, noting that admission decisions will be announced on August 4.

In a statement, the university explained that the colleges available for admission according to the percentages and criteria for the Fall 2025 semester are 70% for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Business and Economics, Law, Sharia and Islamic Studies, Education, Health Sciences, Nursing, and Sports Sciences. The required percentage is 85% for the Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry, and 80% for the College of Pharmacy.

The university emphasized that admission to the university is based on the principle of competition among applicants, and that meeting the minimum requirements for high school education does not guarantee acceptance based on the student's first preference. Rather, students are admitted based on the capacity of each college. It also noted that it will take the educational track in high school into consideration when applying to the university.

The statement indicated that admission applications must be submitted by completing the electronic form on the university's official website www.qu.edu.qa/apply, urging students wishing to enroll to quickly submit their applications and upload all required documents. (QNA)
