Doha, August 26 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Wednesday, gaining 69.01 points, or 0.71 percent, to 9,854.1 points.
A total of 135,768,211 shares were traded during the session, with a turnover of QAR 330,219,714.864 across 23,619 transactions in all sectors.
The shares of 33 companies advanced, whereas those of 12 others declined, while the shares of 8 companies remained unchanged.
Market capitalization rose to QAR 592,195,036,280.086, compared with QAR 588,205,232,715.102 in the previous session. (QNA)
