QFA's Developing Referees Camp Kicks Off, Eyeing Stronger Refereeing Capabilities
Doha, August 26 (QNA) - The Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced Wednesday the launch of its camp for developing referees, held under the superintendence of a contingent of sophisticated personnel from the QFA's Refereeing Department and running through Aug. 29.
The camp showcases an array of coaching lectures delving into a variety of refereeing respects, thereby helping strengthen the knowledge and capacity-building of those developing referees.
This is alongside practical and physical exercises and panel discussions that would provide an opportunity to share perspectives, discuss refereeing scenarios, and capitalize on the expertise of those sophisticated personnel.
The camp is part of the foremost attention of the QFA's Refereeing Department and committee to build the capacities of those referees and prepare a future generation of referees based on top-tier technical and physical criteria.
This would ultimately foster their readiness to advance into the upcoming phase and remain focused on attaining the forefront of refereeing performance stages.
Chairman of the Referees Committee of the QFA, Hani Taleb Balan, said the camp is consequential for those attendees and urged them to remain focused and benefit to the utmost from all training.
He added that this is a watershed moment in the path toward having referees as a groundwork for further performance development and reaching advanced stages culminating in the level of global and elite referees. (QNA)
