Doha, August 26 (QNA) -  The Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center of the Turkish Embassy in the State of Qatar unveiled Wednesday the launch of its new educational and cultural season on Sept. 13, 2026.
The move is dedicated to projecting the Turkish language and culture in pursuit of strengthening the bridges of cultural engagement between the State of Qatar and Turkiye through a combination of a wide diversity of programs that showcase education, arts, patrimony, and cultural activities.
The center highlighted that a range of Turkish language courses and workshops in traditional arts would be staged throughout this new season, including oil painting, gilding, Arabic calligraphy, and Turkish marbling (Ebru), as well as wide-ranging cultural and artistic activities that provide participants with a practical, interactive experience of various aspects of Turkish culture.
The program gives overriding priority to heritage and sports-related activities through conducting training in Turkish traditional marksmanship and courses in popular folks, in addition to holding professional workshops to promote a deeper appreciation of Turkish cuisine, culinary traditions, and culinary arts as an integral expression of Turkiye's cultural heritage.
In addition, the center would keep organizing artistic exhibitions and concerts, along with a variety of cultural events throughout the season, with the aim of projecting this culture to a broader spectrum of audiences and enhancing interaction and Qatar-Turkiye people-to-people cultural connections.
The center director, Anwar Gidik, emphasized that the center is committed to preparing a wide variety of programs in terms of educational and artistic courses. He noted that the center always welcomes all who wish to have a closer look at Turkish culture. (QNA)
