Doha, September 22 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index opened Tuesday's trading session down 38.05 points, or 0.40%, at 9,521, weighed by losses across five sectors.
QSE data showed gains in the Insurance sector, which rose 0.46%, and the Industrials sector, up 0.18%. Meanwhile, the Banks and Financial Services sector fell 0.36%, Consumer Goods and Services declined 0.52%, Telecoms dropped 0.68%, and both the Transportation and Real Estate sectors fell 0.88%.
By 10:00 am, trading on the QSE totaled QR60.256 million, with 26.711 million shares changing hands through 4,351 transactions. (QNA)
