Manama, September 10 (QNA) - Bahrain welcomed the IAEA Board of Governors' adoption of the resolution regarding Syria, which concluded the review of the "implementation of the safeguards agreement in Syria" agenda item, viewing it as a positive development reflecting transparent cooperation with international organizations under international law.

The Bahraini Foreign Ministry praised the Arab Group's efforts in the IAEA board, led by Saudi Arabia with participation from Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco, in submitting the consensus-backed resolution.

The ministry reiterated Bahrain's steadfast support for Syria's national institutions, unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, aiming to fulfill its people's aspirations for stability and prosperity. (QNA)
