Doha, September 10 (QNA) - Al Sadd strengthened their lead at the top of the Doha Bank Stars League with a commanding 6-3 victory over Al Sailiya at Lusail Stadium on Thursday.
Akram Afif scored twice, while Roberto Firmino also netted two goals. Hashem Ali and Mustafa Tarek completed the scoring for Al Sadd.
Al Sailiya's goals came through Jordanian forward Ali Alwan, who scored twice, and Ahmed Moein.
The result gave Al Sadd a fourth consecutive victory, taking their tally to 12 points from four matches and maintaining their perfect record.
Al Sailiya, meanwhile, suffered their fourth straight defeat and remain bottom of the table without a point. (QNA)
