Doha, November 20 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, affirmed that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 represents the harvest of more than 10 years of sound planning, effort and work.
His Excellency said, in an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), that Qatar has worked during the past years to organize a unique edition of the World Cup, and today it reaps the efforts of more than 10 years of hard work, planning and facing challenges.
His Excellency added that the Qatari citizen, with his full faith in God and his full confidence in his government, was able to see the results of the great efforts and contributions made during the past years.
His Excellency also expressed his happiness and pride that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 coincided with the celebration of the National Day of the State of Qatar, adding that Qatar was able to combine two important events, one of which is the National Day (December 18) and the other global event (FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022), this entitlement, whose signs of achievement and success seem to be close, and would not have been achieved with wishes, but rather by diligent work and proper planning. His Excellency thanked everyone who contributed to this global event.
