Amman, September 08 (QNA) - Jordan condemned on Tuesday the Houthi group's targeting of civilian and economic objects in the areas of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leading to civilian casualties. The country also condemned the Houthi group's continued targeting of commercial ships in the Red Sea, considering it a flagrant violation of Saudi sovereignty, and a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, as well as a blatant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a threat to the security and safety of maritime navigation.
The Jordanian Foreign Ministry affirmed Jordan's absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for the measures that KSA takes to protect its security, stability, resources and the safety of its citizens and residents. (QNA)
