Israeli Attacks Continue in Southern Lebanon
Beirut, September 08 (QNA) - Israeli attacks continued in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, targeting several towns without causing any casualties, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.
Israeli forces carried out a blast in the town of Kfar Tebnit and shelled the town of Srifa in the Bint Jbeil district and Nabatieh Al Fawqa, the agency reported. Israeli warplanes also renewed strikes on Nabatieh Al Fawqa, targeting the town for a second time on Tuesday.
Israeli forces also carried out a blast in Al Mansouri, south of Tyre, with explosions heard in the district center and surrounding villages. Another blast was reported in Zawtar Al Sharqiyah.
Meanwhile, Israeli military drones flew at low altitude over Beirut and as far as the southern suburbs of the capital, without striking any sites.
The Israeli attacks on Lebanon come amid continued tensions and escalation along the southern border, raising fears that the attacks could widen and that residential areas could continue to be targeted. (QNA)
