Doha, September 03 (QNA) - Al Arabi secured their first win of the Qatar Stars League season with a 2-0 victory over Al Sailiya at Khalifa International Stadium.
Youssef Snana opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, before Issa Laye doubled Al Arabi's lead with a header in the 77th minute.
The result lifted Al Arabi to five points and third place temporarily, while Al Sailiya suffered their third consecutive defeat and remain bottom without a point.
Al Arabi controlled much of the match, while Al Sailiya improved after the break but were unable to find a way back into the game. (QNA)
