Occupied Jerusalem, September 24 (QNA) - Dozens of colonists stormed on Thursday the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, led by extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick and heavily guarded by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).

WAFA news agency reported Al-Quds Governorate as saying that dozens of colonists stormed Al-Aqsa in separate groups, performed Talmudic rituals and carried out provocative tours within its courtyards.

Since the beginning of the comprehensive Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, more than 68,000 colonists have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the IOF, amid tightened entry restrictions to the mosque and the entrances to the Old City.

These incursions are part of ongoing attacks by colonists against the Al-Aqsa Mosque - carried out under the protection of the IOF, an attempt to impose new realities and alter the site's established historical and legal status, ultimately aiming to cement control over it and enforce its temporal and spatial division.
