Doha, September 21 (QNA) - A Saudi business delegation has visited Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and the Free Zones Authority to be learn about key investment opportunities in Qatar.

The delegation included members of the Saudi side of the Qatari-Saudi Joint Business Council, headed by HE Chairman of the Saudi side of the Council, Hamad bin Ali Al Shuwaier.

The visit was organized by Qatar Chamber and focused on incentives, and facilities available to investors and the role of private sector in advancing economic integration.

The Saudi delegation was accompanied by HE Qatar Chamber Board Member and Chairman of the Council's Follow-up Committee on the Qatari side, Eng. Ali bin Abdul Latif Al Misnad.

During the visit to QDB, the delegation was briefed on the bank's financing programs, services, and solutions supporting companies and projects. The presentation also highlighted the incentives and facilities available to investors and entrepreneurs, as well as the bank's role in supporting private-sector growth and competitiveness.

The delegation also visited the Free Zones Authority, where they learned about Qatar's free zones ecosystem, including its advanced business environment, incentives, and facilities available to investors. They were also briefed on the services provided to companies seeking to establish or expand their operations in the country.

HE Eng. Ali Al-Misnad said the visit provided the Saudi delegation with an opportunity to learn about Qatar's business environment and the incentives and facilities available to investors. He noted that such visits contribute to strengthening ties between the private sectors of the two countries and opening new avenues for partnerships and mutual investment.

The visit reflects the Qatari-Saudi Joint Business Council's commitment to strengthening ties between the private sectors of the two countries and exploring Qatar's business environment and investment potential, thereby supporting investment and commercial partnerships between the two sides. (QNA)
