Jeddah, September 02 (QNA) - The Muslim World League has strongly condemned Iran's targeting of a Saudi tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the organization's General Secretariat said it condemned the attacks for violating religious values as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms.
The statement referred to the targeting of the Saudi-flagged tanker Sidr while it was transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
The organization expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan and supported measures taken by the four countries to protect their security, sovereignty and national interests. (QNA)
