Manama, September 02 (QNA) - Bahrain has strongly condemned renewed Iranian attacks targeting its territory, Kuwait and Jordan, warning that the escalation threatens regional security and stability.
In a statement, Bahrain's Foreign Ministry said the attacks represented a "blatant violation" of national sovereignty and posed a direct threat to the lives of civilians.
It described the attacks as a dangerous escalation that undermined regional security and stability and violated international law, the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
Bahrain expressed full solidarity with the countries targeted and backed their right to take all lawful measures to defend their sovereignty, security and stability and protect citizens and residents.
The ministry said such measures were consistent with international law and Article 51 of the UN Charter, which recognizes the right of states to self-defense. (QNA)
