Cairo, September 16 (QNA) - Egypt strongly condemned the heinous attempt to target Makkah Al Mukarramah, describing it as a blatant violation of the sacred status of religious sites.
In a statement Wednesday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry stressed that such attacks run counter to Islamic values and constitute a clear violation of international law.
Egypt also unequivocally rejected any actions or conduct that pose a threat to the security of Saudi Arabia, considering it an integral part of Arab national security and closely linked to Egyptian national security.
It reaffirmed its support for Saudi Arabia in any measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, territorial integrity and the safety and security of its citizens. (QNA)
