QSE Index Falls 10.87 Points at Start of Monday’s Trading

Doha, September 14 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index fell by 0.11 % at the start of Monday’s trading, losing 10.87 points compared with the previous session’s close to reach 9,838 points, pressured by declines in three sectors.

QSE data showed gains of 0.28 % in the consumer goods and services sector, 0.14 % in transportation, 0.10 % in telecoms, and 0.03 % in real estate. Meanwhile, the industrial sector declined by 0.24 %, banks and financial services by 0.26 % and insurance by 0.75 %.

At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 2,792 transactions valued at QR 48.298 million, distributed across 20.189 million shares. (QNA)
