Washington, August 04 (QNA) - Snapchat announced that AI-generated short videos will stop appearing to its users in the Spotlight platform. 
Snap Inc. explained that the decision was made to maintain Spotlight as a platform focused on original creativity and content that showcases real users' experiences, in light of the increase of low-quality produced videos using AI tools. 
AI will still be an option to use in editing videos, but complete auto generated content will be eliminated once noticed, the company added. 
The move comes as part of the direction of social media platforms in applying stricter policies when it comes to creating AI-generated content and minimizing the spread of low-quality and fake content. (QNA)
