Kathmandu, August 31 (QNA) - The Nepalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that at least 590 foreigners from 39 countries remain missing following the devastating floods that struck Nepal last week.
In a statement today, the ministry confirmed that more than 10,000 people, including over 323 foreigners, were rescued during the floods, adding: "Approximately 590 foreign nationals from 39 countries are still missing."
Earlier today, the death toll from the mudslides and floods that swept through several regions of Nepal rose to 903, while 4,247 people remain missing, according to the latest data from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority. (QNA)
