Woman Dies After Stabbing at Train Station in Germany's Bavaria
Berlin, August 30 (QNA) - A 31-year-old woman died after being stabbed at a railway station in Rosenheim, in the southern German state of Bavaria, police said on Sunday.
Police said a 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of carrying out the attack.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious stab wounds but later died of her injuries. Police said the circumstances of the incident and the motive remained unclear, as investigations were ongoing.
The attack adds to a series of knife-related incidents at German railway stations in recent years, including a stabbing at Hamburg’s main railway station in May 2025 that left 17 people injured. (QNA)
