Gaza, August 30 (QNA) - An elderly Palestinian woman was injured by Israeli gunfire in Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip on Sunday.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the woman was shot by Israeli occupation forces while she was outside areas under Israeli control in southern Khan Younis.
The shooting comes amid continued Israeli military activity in Gaza despite a ceasefire that took effect on October 11, 2025. According to WAFA, Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began have killed around 1,313 Palestinians and injured more than 4,361 others, while the bodies of 815 Palestinians have been recovered from under the rubble.
