Qatar Chamber Invited to Participate in AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai
Doha, August 03 (QNA) - Board Member of Qatar Chamber Eng. Ali bin Abdullatif Al Misned met with a delegation from the UAE's AIM Congress Organizing Committee, in the presence of HE Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the State of Qatar Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Board Member of Qatar Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abduljaleel Al Abdulghani, Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansori, along with representatives of several Qatari entities.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation and investment opportunities available to improve relations between the business sectors in Qatar and the UAE.
In his remarks, Al Misned praised the strong fraternal and economic relations between Qatar and the UAE, which are witnessing continuous growth across various fields, especially in the commercial and investment fields.
He stressed that the AIM Congress has become a vital global platform for investment dialogue. It plays an important role in fostering dialogue on the future of investment, showcasing promising opportunities, and exchanging expertise and best practices, thereby supporting sustainable economic development and strengthening international partnerships.
In turn, HE Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the State of Qatar Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi praised the deep-rooted ties between Qatar and the UAE, along with the shared keenness to enhance economic and investment cooperation in a way that achieves common interests.
His Excellency urged the Qatar Chamber and Qatari business owners to participate in the AIM Congress, stressing that it has become one of the key global investment platforms for showcasing promising investment opportunities and discussing economic challenges.
For his part, Chairman of the AIM Congress Organizing Committee Dawood Al Shezawi stressed the importance of the summit in enhancing prospects for cooperation and partnership with investors and business owners from around the world, noting that 2026 summit focuses on three main themes: Global Markets, Future Economies, and Next Generations.
He pointed out that 2025 dition which drew over 15,000 participants from 181 countries with the attendance of 74 ministers and more than 1,385 speakers, as well as the organization of 12 workshops and 14 roundtable meetings.
2026 AIM Congress will take place from Sep. 7-9 at the Dubai World Trade Center under the theme: "Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future." (QNA)
