New York, August 27 (QNA) - Major US stock indexes opened higher on Thursday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 149.8 points, or 0.28 percent, to 53,613.66 points.
The S&P 500 gained 34.6 points, or 0.45 percent, to 7,710.34 points.
The Nasdaq Composite climbed 226.8 points, or 0.87 percent, to 26,356.977 points. (QNA)
