Tottenham Sign Egypt's Omar Marmoush

London, August 27 (QNA) - Tottenham Hotspur F.C. signed Egypt international Omar Marmoush from Manchester City on a one-season loan.

Marmoush began his professional career with Egyptian club Wadi Degla in 2016 before moving to German side Wolfsburg.

He later had loan spells at St. Pauli and Stuttgart before joining Eintracht Frankfurt in May 2023.

With Frankfurt, Marmoush scored 37 goals and provided 20 assists in 67 appearances, attracting Manchester City, who signed him in January 2025.

During his time at City, he made 62 appearances across competitions, scoring 16 goals and helping the team win the League Cup and FA Cup.

He also scored a hat-trick against Newcastle United in his first season.

Internationally, Marmoush has made 55 appearances for Egypt, scoring 11 goals.

He has featured in three Africa Cup of Nations editions and recently made his first FIFA World Cup appearance. (QNA)
