Four Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Airstrike on Gaza City
Gaza, August 2 (QNA) - Four Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City.
Medical sources said four Palestinians were killed and others wounded after an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle near Sharia Court in Al Rimal neighbourhood, west of Gaza City.
According to sources at hospitals across Gaza Strip, the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on various areas of the enclave since dawn today has risen to 18, including four children.
Spokesperson for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Bassal said the Israeli occupation army has intensified its airstrikes on the Strip at an unprecedented pace.
In a press statement, he stated that the Israeli military had carried out more than 10 airstrikes since this Sunday morning, killing more than 16 Palestinians and injuring dozens of others, while Israeli bombardment continued.
Israeli occupation forces have recently escalated raids, shelling, and gunfire targeting various locations across the Gaza Strip, including residential apartments, buildings, civilian vehicles, and camps for displaced persons, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries, including children, women, and entire families.
The death toll from the Israeli occupation forces' genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has now risen to 73,356 martyrs and 174,185 wounded since October 7, 2023. (QNA)
