5 Injured in Russian Airstrikes on Ukraine's Sumy Oblast
Kyiv, August 10 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities announced that five people were injured in a Russian airstrike targeting the Sumy Oblast in northeastern Ukraine with five bombs.
Head of the Sumy City Military Administration Serhiy Kryvosheyenko said that the strikes targeted locations in the Zarichne and Kovpakivka districts of Sumy, injuring five people and causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
Since the beginning of the war, which has entered its fourth year, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged almost daily reports affirming that each has responded to the other's attacks, without independent verification due to the war and battle conditions since Feb. 24, 2022. (QNA)
