Gaza, July 06 (QNA) - The death toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,098 martyrs and 173,571 wounded.

In a statement on Monday, the health authorities in Gaza stated that the Strip's hospitals received five martyrs and seven wounded in the past 24 hours.

The statement indicated that 1,072 people have been martyred and 3,463 others wounded, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 799 martyrs since the ceasefire was declared in the Gaza Strip on October 11.

Many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on October 11, but the occupation forces continue to violate the agreement by launching more raids, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire on various areas of the Gaza Strip. (QNA)
