Doha, July 05 (QNA) - The summer activities at Katara kicked off with 190 participants taking part in a diverse lineup of cultural, artistic, scientific, educational, and entertainment activities that will continue until July 29.

The participants are enrolled in 11 diverse summer camps focused on tradition, arts, astronomy, crafts, sports, literature, photography, motivation, religion, and more. The camps are designed to meet participants' interests while providing practical and educational experiences that enrich their understanding and refine their skills.

The activities, which cater to children and young adults, have been met with enthusiasm. Participants engaged with instructors through discussions, group activities, and creative exercises that allowed them to express their ideas and imagination.

The literature camp, aimed at strengthening their Arabic language, introduced participants to poetry, storytelling, creative writing, and public speaking, while the arts camps helped them discover their talents and showcase their creative abilities.

The astronomy camp provided participants with an enriching experience in the field, while the sports camps offered activities that promoted both physical fitness and mental well-being. The religious camp delivered an educational program that combined values and knowledge tailored to the targeted age groups.

The summer camps organized by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) are part of its ongoing efforts to make productive use of the holiday period through impactful programs that enrich participants' personalities, strengthen their creative and intellectual abilities, and instill the values of cooperation and self-confidence in an inspiring educational environment that blends culture, art, science, and tradition. The initiative reflects Katara's vision of nurturing talent and developing a creative generation that takes pride in its cultural identity. (QNA)
