Doha, July 29 (QNA) - The General Directorate of Penal and Correctional Institutions at the Ministry of Interior received a delegation from the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within the framework of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise.
The delegation was received by Director of the General Directorate Major General Nasser Mohammed Essa Al Sayed along with a number of officers. 
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the Directorate's key programs and initiatives and toured several departments and units to learn about the operational mechanisms, procedures, and services provided to inmates. The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange expertise, review best practices, and discuss the implementation of modern correctional philosophy. (QNA)
