Kuwait, August 21 (QNA) - Kuwait today expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip and the resulting civilian casualties.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the continuation of these attacks undermines efforts to establish a ceasefire and the full implementation of the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip in all its phases, in accordance with Security Council Resolution 2803.

The Ministry also condemned the Israeli occupation authorities' continued illegal settlement policies in the occupied West Bank, including the E1 settlement project, in violation of international law and Security Council Resolution 2334, stressing its rejection of all measures aimed at changing the legal and demographic status of the occupied Palestinian territory.

It called on the international community and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities in stopping these attacks and violations, protecting the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and supporting efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of Jun. 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
