Ankara, July 22 (QNA) - Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat said trade between Turkiye and Syria reached approximately $3.75 billion last year, marking an increase of more than 40%, adding that both countries were working to raise bilateral trade to $10 billion.
Bolat made the remarks during a meeting on free trade and industrial zones in Syria and the investment climate, held in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with Turkish and Syrian officials.
He said the two countries are committed to increasing production and investment, as well as enhancing, expanding, and modernizing land border crossings and maritime transport links to facilitate the growth of bilateral trade. (QNA)
