Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets EU Delegation
Ankara, July 01 (QNA) – Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and her accompanying delegation, which included European Union officials and is currently visiting the Turkish capital, Ankara.
The two sides discussed strengthening relations, economic and trade cooperation, migration, security, and the shared foreign policy and security challenges facing European Union and Türkiye.
During the meeting, they also exchanged views on several current regional and global issues, including Ukraine, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, and the South Caucasus. Both sides reaffirmed their shared interests and responsibilities in addressing these issues through enhanced consultation and coordination, as well as their commitment to multilateralism and a rules-based international order.
