Gaza, July 02 (QNA) - The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023 has risen to 73,074, in addition to 173,537 injured.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said Thursday that the total number of casualties who arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours reached 4 bodies, including two who were recovered, in addition to 12 injured.

They added that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

The sources indicated that the total number of victims since the ceasefire on Oct. 11 has reached 1,059, along with 3,429 injured, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 788 bodies.

The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on Oct.11, following the withdrawal of the occupation army from the sites and populated areas in the sector, and the start of the return of displaced persons to the northern part of the sector, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war on Gaza.
