Kuwait City, June 29 (QNA) - Kuwait has condemned continued Israeli violations inside Syrian territory, including recent incursions and shelling of the southern provinces of Quneitra and Daraa.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said the actions represented a serious breach of international agreements and efforts aimed at maintaining regional stability.
It said the ongoing practices undermined initiatives designed to preserve security and stability in the region and showed disregard for relevant international agreements, including the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Kuwait reaffirmed its longstanding position in support of Syria's sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity. (QNA)
