Manama, June 28 (QNA) - The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the renewed Iranian attack against its territory, targeting it once again with ballistic missiles and drones.
In a statement issued Sunday, Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered this renewed attack a dangerous escalation, revealing that Tehran's actions are not isolated incidents or random acts, but rather a deliberate and systematic pattern of repeated aggression against the Kingdom's sovereignty and the security of its citizens and residents.
The Ministry stressed that Tehran's continued defiance of international will required a firm response, calling on the UN Security Council to convene an urgent session and fulfill its responsibilities in ensuring the implementation of Resolution 2817 (2026), putting an end to this ongoing aggression, and holding those responsible accountable.
The statement affirmed Bahrain's full and legitimate right to defend its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, as guaranteed by international law, holding the Iranian regime fully responsible for any escalation resulting from its continued attacks. (QNA)
