Two Freight Trains Collide in Germany, One Killed
Berlin, June 20 (QNA) - One person was killed following a collision between two freight trains on a bridge in Munich in the early hours of the morning, German police said on Saturday.
It added that the accident caused two wagons to derail and fall from the bridge onto the street below.
A police spokesperson in the city in southern Germany said that an investigation is underway into the cause of the accident.
A fire department spokesperson said that emergency services received a report of the collision in the Milbertshofen area in northern Munich and that around 60 emergency responders were deployed to the scene. (QNA)
